More than that, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare draws from the large fan-base that the Plants vs. Zombies series has already built up thanks to its games on the mobile platforms.

Core Challenges

With a game like Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, you are bound to encounter plenty of difficult moments. Here are a few Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare strategies and tips to handle them when they arise:

Defending Your Turf
Throughout Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, you are tasked with defending your garden with your plant and all your plant buddies. This becomes difficult depending on the game mode you play and the level of your opponents. In order to keep your garden safe, you need to plant some helpers and work with your teammates to keep the garden safe.

Managing Your Resources
Once you have decided to build a garden, you need to add some plant buddies to the area to help you defend it. These are the plants that will sit in pots and not move for the duration of the game. They can be revived and hurt just like you can so it is important to take care of your partners. More than that, you only have a limited number of them that you can plant. This amount depends on how many resources you have when enter each match and will only change if you buy more. Managing how you heal, fight and plant these guys is important to the amount of coins you have and the help you can use.

Staying Alive
While this may seem obvious, staying alive in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare can be a challenge. When there are zombies coming at you from every side, it can be difficult to keep yourself and your teammates alive long enough to win the round and the game. The main thing to remember is that sunflowers are the healers of the game and whether they are potted or teammates, they are crucial to have in order to win.

What We Like About Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is an intense game with plenty to enjoy. Here are three of things that stood out the most to us in this game:

In the world of Plants vs. Zombies, you will encounter a variety of plants and zombies. For the most part, there are four different character types that you can use for each species. Each of them comes with a unique personality and weapon set that make them special. More than that, you share a number of encounters with Crazy Dave and his RV throughout the game that will make you chuckle and enjoy the game that much more.

Throughout the game, you will be able to customize and acquire a number of different versions of the four characters that you can use for each species. You get these customizations as well as your planted reinforcements by purchasing card packs with coins. There are a number of different packs that you can purchase, ranging from reinforcement packs all the way to specialty and expansion packs. This adds a nice element to the game that makes it different from other games in the genre.

While there are many difficulties to playing Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and keeping all your enemies in check, the gameplay is one of the best parts of it. It’s entertaining and fun, and honestly, the gameplay is one of the things that I remember most about this Plants vs. Zombies because it keeps me entertained and happy without being too complicated.

Story and Gameplay

Due to the nature of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare as a multiplayer game, there isn’t too much of a story to speak of. Outside of the combat between the plants and zombies that fans of the Plants vs. Zombies series are used to, there isn’t too much to the story. However, Garden Warfare does offer a variety of game modes that allow players to work competitively and cooperatively with other players. More than that, the game offers challenges to improve your level as well as your units.

How Do I Unlock New Characters in Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare?
It isn’t possible to unlock new characters as you have only the same four units for each species; however, it is possible to unlock different customizations for those characters to make them fight better and look cool. You can get these by purchasing the different card packs from the sticker shop

Can I Play as a Zombie in Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare?
Usually, you are tasked with fending off wave after wave of zombies in order to keep your garden safe. There are a few instances where you are capable of playing as the zombies. This happens when you play online. During the different matches, you will randomly be chosen to be part of the plant team or zombie team. As a result, it is possible to play as a zombie, but there is no way to do it every time you play like with the plants. It is just the luck of the draw.

Are There Better Places to Plant Your Garden than Others?
The only mode of the game that deals with planting your own garden is the Garden Ops mode, and in that mode, you are tasked with choosing from three different locations. There isn’t any one spot that is better than others on each of the levels. It honestly depends on how you play. There may be some garden locations that are more open and work if you like being able to see all of your enemies coming, while there are also locations that will force the enemies on a narrow path. It all depends on how you like to play and where you can inflict the most damage.
